Red Jade is a renowned black tea grown in the Sun Moon Lake region of Taiwan. It is harvested from the T-18 cultivar, a hybrid between Camellia formosensis and Camellia sinensis var. assamica, which results in a bold cup with minty undertones. True to its name, the liquor possesses a clear, deep, and brilliant reddish-amber hue when steeped.
